Lara Croft it is!

This is a late post, sorry Mama got tied up with so many chores and stuffs,
anyway, this is what I wanted, a Lara Croft costume…

... we just bought the 2 toy guns for P50.00 each, and everything else are old stuff we have around the house, my old black shorts & Sando, the gun holster is made up from Mama’s old backpack (my dear Papa made this! Thanks a lot Popsie!), and the boots from a cousin. So far, this is my cheapest costume ever! And I even won the BEST COSTUME AWARD!

Halloween is almost 3 weeks ago now… but then again, like all the other past Halloweens,

Me & my cousin Josh (in Power Ranger’s costume), had a blast!

Halloween Season Again!

Halloween  is one of my favorite holidays. The children get to wear their favorite costumes... and make believe they are their favorite Action Hero or Disney Princess. Below are some of the pictures of my daughter through the years with her costumes. I hope you will find inspirations in them, it’s been an adverture for our family to complete her costume every year. We don’t want to just buy from the stores, we wanted a unique look.

Sam’s 1st costume, Pink Fairy Princess,
a gift from an uncle. I just added the hair and hand accessories. Isn’t she so cute…

Another costume, some sort of a ballerina in roller skates …

as Ms. Minie Mouse …

As Princess Jasmine ...

I had this sewn by a seamstress, we bought everything from the cloth (from a sale), the lace, beads, everything. I did all the embellishments and accessories, I just love the challenge of coming with something extraordinary and beautiful. She was able to use this in several occasions way after Halloween is over.

As Cleopatra ...
According to Sam, this is her favorite. Again we bought everything from the cloth (again from a sale) to the accessories. I did all the embellishments and accessories. She used this for two consecutive years for Halloween.   Sam believes she really looked good in this costume. The long dangling part of the headdress is from a Christmas décor that hadn’t been used.

Sam with her adorable cousin Josh (as Mr. Apple Picker). Isn’t he sooo cute!
last Halloween 2007…

Halloween 2008
She’s done with the princess’ theme, and this time wants something different…

Meet Batgirl in action ...

Actually, Batman and Batgirl … (Sam with her cousin Josh)

(For this costume, we just bough the tights and leotards (very cheap!) and I just made and added the batman symbol (sequins) and the belt. Then bought the set of mask, cape and the gloves at toy kingdom (for only P150.00)

...  they had a lot of fun going from house to house in a subdivision…

Superheroes taking a break together with Mr. Friendly Spiderman.
Again it was a memory to last a lifetime …

For this year, well, she wanted something different again …
Lara Croft perhaps?!!
